Coaching and therapy overlap in meaningful ways, but they aren't the same thing.
I'm not a licensed mental health professional. I can't diagnose, treat, or cure mental health conditions, prescribe or recommend medication, or offer professional medical or mental health advice.
If you're working with a psychiatrist or need that level of clinical care, therapy is the right fit for you.
What coaching can offer is a non-pathologizing space to do real healing work — without a diagnosis required, without insurance limitations, and without being told what your healing should look like.
Many of today's leading trauma experts are now training coaches alongside therapists because so much of this work doesn't require a license to do well.
Trauma researcher Eric Gentry has said that 80% of the work he does can be done by a paraprofessional. Research published in the Journal of Technology in Behavioral Science found that 58% of people who began with symptoms of depression experienced clinical recovery after working with a certified coach.
Coaching also means I can work with people across state lines, sessions are more affordable, and you're not limited to a set number of visits.

I want to make sure you get the support that's right for you. If any of the following apply, I'd encourage you to connect with a licensed mental health professional in your area:
Active suicidal ideation or self-harm
Active substance use or addiction
A serious eating disorder
Currently in an abusive relationship
Severe or acute mental health conditions requiring clinical treatment
If you're not sure whether coaching is right for you, reach out — I'm happy to help you figure that out.

Sessions are calm, conversational, and guided by what you need that day. Sometimes that looks like processing what's been coming up for you. Other times I'll teach you tools to help with something specific; regulation, parts work, body awareness. There's no script you have to follow. You just show up as you are.

Sessions are 60 minutes. We meet weekly or biweekly depending on what works best for you. All sessions are held virtually through a secure video platform. You can join from wherever feels most comfortable for you.

It's different for everyone. Healing isn't linear and there's no timeline you have to meet. In general, I recommend a minimum of 12-20 sessions to begin seeing real shifts. For complex or long-term trauma, a year or more is often where the deeper work happens.

Yes. Trauma isn't always one big event. If you're stuck in patterns you can't break, struggling to trust yourself, or just feel like something is off, that's enough to start. You don't need a diagnosis to deserve support.

I understand that financial limitations can be a real barrier, and I never want cost to keep someone from beginning their healing journey. If one-on-one coaching or a group program isn't within your budget right now, I recommend starting with my signature course. (coming soon) It's designed to give you a solid foundation for understanding trauma, your nervous system, and practical tools to begin healing at your own pace.
